Our challenge was to deliver a sentiment analysis tool that captures faces, identifies them, and analyzes how each person is really feeling over time. This allowed us to measure the standard range of emotions for each individual so we could more easily determine whether the specific face was genuinely happy, sad, angry, fearful, or neutral.

The verdict? We determined that this approach can be used to gauge a reasonable representation of a person's emotional state in a personalized, meaningful way. We can think of all sorts of ways that this could be applied to solve real business problems in a bunch of industries. Mission accomplished!
